भारत और भारतीयों की पहचान भारत का राष्ट्रीय प्रतीक अशोक स्तंभ दुनिया में भारतीयों के गौरव का प्रतीक है।

यह २६ जनवरी १९५० को राष्ट्रीय चिन्ह के रूप में स्वीकार किया गया था।

इस चिन्ह में एक उल्टे कमल के फूल के आधार पर चार शेर चारो ओर मुंह करके खड़े है।

शेरो के नीचे आधार पर २४ तिलियो वाले चक्रों के साथ एक हाथी, एक घोड़ा, एक बैल, एक शेर है। सभी दो जानवरो के बीच में एक चक्र है।

राष्ट्रीय चिन्ह के नीचे देवनागरी हिन्दी में सत्य मेव जयते लिखा हुआ है।

भारत का राष्ट्रीय चिन्ह सारनाथ के मंदिर में मिली अशोक कि लाट से लिया गया था।

Identity of India and Indians Ashoka Pillar, the national symbol of India, is a symbol of pride of Indians in the world.



It was accepted as a national emblem on 24 January 1950.



In this symbol, on the basis of an inverted lotus flower, four lions stand facing each other.



At the base below the chero is an elephant, a horse, an ox, a lion, with 24 tidal circles. There is a circle between all the two animals.



Under the national emblem, Satya Meo Jayate is written in Devanagari Hindi.

The national emblem of India was taken from Ashoka's lot found in the temple of Sarnath.
